I am interested in traditional ideas for sculpture such as the juxtaposition of shapes and forms, mass, weight, dealing with space etc, I am not really concerned with conceptual art on the whole.
However within this I am interested in totemic forms, work that seems to move upwards maybe to something better, maybe to provide a gateway to the heavens! I work in steel and sometimes other metals i.e Bronze and stainless steel , I still am amazed the way one can make seperate pieces whole through the process of welding.
