Jackie Watkins

I usually work in a figurative manner and enjoy developing ideas through a journey of different forms of media. Mostly I start with a drawing, and then referring only to the drawing create a new work by a process of exploration, relying on memory and emotional response. At times a chain forms, each new work informs the subsequent work and will often be made in a different media.

Commenced my part-time art studies at Reigate School of Art, Design and Media. I then continued my studies at Wimbledon College of Art, attaining BA Hons Practice and Theory in Art and Design.
