Celebrating art across East Grinstead
Townscape was a dynamic, unprecedented contemporary art trail across public sites in the town centre. The trail showcased local creative talent through newly commissioned artwork. In place for six months, the trail was open to the public from 30 May to 30 November 2014.
Townscape was organised by Example art group, based in East Grinstead and featured art work from each group member together with three exhibits commissioned from artists with direct links to the town:
“I would urge you to keep an eye on this group of talented artists, as they… put East Grinstead on the art map of Britain.”
